Supporting Australia’s Women Veterans

Women Veterans United is here to support Australian service women who are facing adversity or want to rise up to further succeed. As an organisation that values service, our aim is to provide a range of services and resources to empower, support and include women who have served in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). You are eligible if you have served at least one day in the full time or part time ADF.

Empowerment is a fundamental human right and essential to welfare. Women deserve to lead safe, fulfilled and productive lives. The Women Veterans United promotes women’s sense of self-worth and their ability to make their own choices so they can reach their full potential.


We are committed to serving Australia’s women veterans who are facing adversity. As a welfare organisation, we focus on the veteran and their goals. As a service organisation, we consider the wellbeing of all women veterans as paramount.


We are focused on supporting women veterans to ensure they are able to rise out of any situation. We provide ongoing service provision, comfort, financial assistance and encouragement to support the goals of women ensuring quality of life is achieved.


We are an inclusive organisation focused on ensuring all women veterans know they are welcome to ask for assistance and support in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Women Veterans United are open and accepting of all beliefs and lifestyles.
